Public Relations Services
My PR company, C.L. Schreinert & Associates, is available to assist theatre companies, film productions, and any other business or company. While in my public relations program and since graduating from my program in April 2005, I have worked extensively with theatre productions, independent films, The Vancouver Fringe Festival, Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival and corporate clients including London Drugs. Many of my clients have appeared in numerous regional and national publications, been interviewed on radio stations across Western Canada and appeared on news and entertainment programs.
The Career of the Performer
Beginning as a show host at an amusement park, then providing reporting for local radio stations, I moved to Vancouver to further my acting and presenting skills. I have appeared in numerous theatre and independent film productions. I am adept at both drama and comedy, and am drawn to character driven pieces that look closer at human interaction and relationships. For me, acting is all about the journey; just like life. I also enjoy providing motivational speeches to an audience. Hosting many events provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with an audience and share in a vision. On Being An Artist
Being an artist isn't just about focusing on one creative area, it's about being open to many. For me, photography is my artistic outlet. Taking photographs is very similar to being in a zen state of mind. You have to relax, take a moment and look at the smaller things in life. Artistry is in anything creative that we do. I also enjoy creative writing and feel my artist soul singing as I put words and sentences on the page.
